Once upon a time there was an exceptional place. We used to call it an island because it was surrounded by blue sea, so clear that it could take your breath away.
So wonderful beaches sculpted in the rocks by a divine hand with wise precision, that the one who visited them remained deeply amazed. The sun, so brilliant a sun that it wheedle the island all year round, spread its rays on the pure water, to heat and make it sparkle like diamonds.
Inside the island, so numerous were the wonders you didn't know where to begin from high mountains, sometimes coppered with fir-trees and dense vegetation, sometimes dry and proud chiseled by the hand of a talented sculptor.
Green everywhere, trees full of fruit (apricots, peaches, fig ... ) and hundreds of olive-trees . Villages scattered from one side to the other, with shaded yards, gorgeous with flowers of all types and of all colors, caressed by the sun, and emitting nice scents.
And the humans ? Simple people, many farmers, kind and welcoming with a great smile and very friendly, offering to the visitor fresh fruits just picked from the trees and a pot of wine from their personal vineyard.
It could seem like a dream or even it remind you of the paradise . This place existed then is trying to exist again nowadays. It's a Greek island in the Ionian Sea which is called Kefalonia and which is exactly as I describe it to you.
Yes, you are right, I forget to present myself. I'm Persa. Some of you know me because for six years I have been cooking for you home made dishes, in my familial taverna at Katelios, a charming village in the South of Cephalonia.
It may sound strange, but foreigners from different countries come here to spend their holidays, again and again. Each year, sometimes two or three times a year. When we ask them why they return, the answer is that they don't feel like tourists. They have rather the impression that they come back to their second home to spend some relaxing days which they deserve to them, surrounded by their friends who wait them with a warm smile and a great embrace.
Today, an handful of us get to work to create a travel agency. With passion and dedication we want to give you the possibility, to you and your family, to visit us, and spend your holidays, at afordable prices, and with one of us at your disposal any time, to answer to your needs and your desires.
